FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a cognitive system for video analysis, monitoring, monitoring of a driver and a vehicle in real time. Method comprises monitoring events occurring in vehicle cabin in real time by receiving data from camera installed in vehicle interior, performing image preprocessing, determining the position of key points on the image, determining the area of interest of the image based on the position of the key points, determining based on the analysis of each detected area of interest, an image of at least one type of incident. Analysis includes processing an image area for the presence of an incident, recording the time of detecting the incident, generating a data packet containing information on the incident and time of its fixation, and transmitting said data packet to the server.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of determining incidents occurring in vehicle cabin in real time mode.
