SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installation (1) and a method for transporting reactive, and/or hot, and/or abrasive material along a transportation path. Transport installation (1) includes case (3) with transport chamber (5), in which a transportation path is located, and at least one auxiliary chamber (6-8). Auxiliary chamber (6-8) is connected to transport chamber (5) through at least one through hole, and it has fluid atmosphere physically and/or chemically different from fluid atmosphere in transport chamber (5). At least one through hole (9, 10) in transport chamber (5) and at least auxiliary chamber (6-8) is made to create a fluid flow in case (3) due to the pressure drop from the pressure in auxiliary chamber (6-8) to the pressure in transport chamber (5). A mechanism for transporting the mentioned material is made with a traction device with a drive for moving bearing elements for transporting the mentioned material. At least one traction device with the drive of the mechanism for transporting the mentioned material is located in at least one auxiliary chamber (6-8).
EFFECT: location of the transportation path in the transport chamber makes it possible to significantly encapsulate the transportation path from the environment, so that transported material is largely isolated from environmental substances and, in particular, from oxygen; the establishment of a certain fluid flow due to different fluid atmospheres in the transport chamber and the auxiliary chamber makes it possible, in addition, to eliminate environmental substances and, in particular, oxygen from the area of transported material, as well as certain removal of gases and dust hazardous to health and/or the environment by the fluid flow from the transport chamber.
