FIELD: testing.

SUBSTANCE: invention provides a possibility of monitoring the condition of channels in microfluidic chips using a digital microscope or a camera. The apparatus is also intended for supplying a liquid through various combinations of ports into the microfluidic chip, through a special clip and the base of the microfluidic holder. Proposed is a high-pressure and high-temperature holder for a microfluidic chip, containing a cover secured on the base, wherein the surface of the base interacting with the cover is equipped with a recess for installing a transitional plate with through holes, whereon the microfluidic chip is placed. The base is therein equipped with heaters, through holes for the output and input of a liquid to the microfluidic chip, and through holes for extracting the transitional plate. The cover is equipped with a hole with an expansion, forming a cavity for installing a lining pad and sapphire crystal with a chamfer on the surface facing the cover, and is configured for the microfluidic chip to be pressed with the sapphire crystal. The through holes of the transitional plate are therein configured to be combined with part of the through holes for the output and input of a liquid. A possibility of controlling the operating temperature (up to 250°C) and pressure (up to 60 MPa) is provided in the apparatus.

EFFECT: possibility of conducting experimental testing using microfluidic chips of different sizes at high pressures and high temperatures.
