FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: workpiece of a microfluidic chip and a microfluidic chip for the cultivation and/or study of cells have been proposed. Workpiece includes representing a plate with holes in the base. Layer of a molding material with a microfluidic system of a given topology is placed on one of the sides of the base, and a sealing layer is placed on the opposite side of the base in the form of a single elastic part made of a molding material. When this sealing layer is placed on the surface of the base and on the inner surface of the holes of the base. Microfluidic chip includes the above workpiece and a plate of optically transparent material. Plate is fixed on the workpiece from the side of the microfluidic system with its sealing.

EFFECT: invention ensures the preservation of the sterility of the microfluidic chip during its operation, the preservation of tightness and the increase of the convenience of its operation.
