FIELD: elevators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a universal single-line pipe elevator. The universal pipe elevator includes a body pivotally connected to a shackle, replaceable grips for pipes, replaceable liners corresponding to replaceable grips that protect the body from wear, a grip handle acting as a locking device, a spring-loaded latch interacting with the grip handle, locking screws fixing the grip from fallout upwards, and the handle of the case for ease of work. The body is made of a cylindrical shape in the form of a crescent with two lugs, located parallel to each other, and a slot in the lower part of the body for inserting a pipe. A cylindrical groove is made inside the body, forming a thrust ledge in the form of a half-ring in the lower part of the body, and a thrust platform containing spikes for installing a replaceable liner made in the form of a half-ring, which protects the thrust surface of the body from wear, and a replaceable grip. The insert contains blind holes, which interact with the pins located on the thrust platform of the body to exclude the possibility of rotation. The replaceable grip is made in the form of a half-ring with an internal shoulder, which serves as a thrust platform for pipe couplings and a collar, or in the form of a half-ring with a flat upper surface, which serves as a thrust platform for pipe couplings. The replaceable liner and the replaceable grip together in the "open" position form a mouth for inserting the pipe, and in the "closed" position they form a closed ring, which prevents the pipe from falling out. A longitudinal hole is made in the rear wall of the housing, in which a spring-loaded latch is located. The latch consists of a rod, a spring, and a sleeve with an external thread that secures the latch against flying out. The latch, interacting with the grip handle, together form a locking mechanism. The upper part of the rod, interacting with the gripper handle, is made for a cone. In the body there are horizontal through threaded holes for the installation of locking screws, which protect the gripper from falling out upwards. The gripper is brought to the “open” or “closed” position by turning around its axis using the gripper handle. On the outer side of the gripper, there is a side threaded hole with a counterbore for turning the handle and an annular groove interacting with the locking screws. The gripper handle contains a threaded connection and an annular shoulder recessed in the counterbore part of the gripper. The annular shoulder of the grip handle protects it from turning back after installing the grip in the body and fixing it with locking screws during operation due to the shoulder rest against the body. For the convenience of work, a handle is fixed to the elevator with nuts, which are fixed with lock washers.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the elevator, increasing its reliability and efficiency, expanding its technical capabilities, maximally preventing the possibility of opening the elevator and falling pipes.
