FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting and handling devices used in oil and gas industry during round-trip operations. Universal single-link pipe elevator includes a body pivotally connected to a clevis, a replaceable gripper for pipes, a replaceable insert, a grab handle, a body handle, pins made in the form of a cylinder, by means of which the body is pivotally connected to the clevis, and at least two spring-loaded locking mechanisms, which together form a locking mechanism, one of which is placed on the gripper handle and interacts with the body, and the other is placed in the body and interacts with the grip. Base of the body is made in the form of a bracket or a crescent with two vertically directed lugs located parallel to each other; at the base of one or both lugs there is a hole into which the bushing of the locking mechanism placed on the grip handle sits. In the base of the body there is a mouth for insertion of the pipe, on the blind side the mouth is made radially, on the side of the pipe insertion the ends of the mouth are made with lead-in chamfers or in the form of a cone or are rounded. Cylindrical bore is made inside the base of the body, which forms a support platform in the lower part of the base of the body for installation of the insert and grip; in the lugs there are through holes for pins for hinged connection with the clevis. Replaceable grip and the replaceable insert are made in the form of a bracket or a crescent, the grip and the insert contain a mouth for insertion of the pipe, on the blind side the mouth of the grip and insert is made radially, the ends of the grip and the insert are made with lead-in chamfers or in the form of a cone, or are rounded, or are made with sharp ends. Replaceable grip and replaceable insert together in position "open" form a mouth for insertion of pipe, and in position "closed" form a closed ring, which forms a closed shape of the elevator. Grip is brought into the "open" or "closed" position by turning around its axis by means of a handle on which one of the locking mechanisms is located, wherein the insert remains stationary, on the upper plane at the edge of the gripping circle there is an annular collar or on the upper gripping plane there are at least two internal bores, one of a larger diameter, which forms an annular collar, and the second one of smaller diameter, which serves as a support platform for the coupling. In the lower part on one side of the end of the grip there is a cut in the form of a flat, on the outer side of the grip there is a threaded hole with countersink and at least one annular groove. Grip handle, on which one of the locking mechanisms is located, contains at least one threaded connection, the grip handle contains an annular collar, which is buried in the grip countersink when it is turned in and eliminates axial movement due to thrust of annular collar to inner part of housing wall, which protects it from flap, body contains stoppers protecting grip from falling out upwards, and handle for convenience of operation with elevator.

EFFECT: higher safety, reliability and efficiency of an elevator.
