FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to surgery and cardiology. The medical apparatus comprises a metal expandable body configured to be located in a biological space defined by the inner surface of the wall of the biological space. The expandable body therein additionally comprises a main part additionally containing a proximal neck, a proximal area, and a distal area, a distal neck, wherein the proximal neck is connected with the proximal area, the proximal area is connected with the distal area, and the distal area is connected with the distal neck; and a wall passing continuously through the proximal neck, the proximal area, the distal area, and the distal neck, forming the outer surface of the expandable body and the inner surface of the expandable body, wherein the inner surface determines the internal volume of the expandable body. The expandable body is therein configured to assume a single-segment shape when expanded. When expanded, the expandable body is configured to reduce the blood flow into the biological space due to the location of the expanded expandable body in the biological space. The expandable body is made so that when said body expands in the lumen of the biological space, the expanded expandable body is in contact with part of the wall of the biological space, while an empty area remains between the expanded expandable body and the inner surface of the walls of the biological space opposite the opening from the vessel into the lumen of the biological space. The wire element is configured to come into contact with the inner surface of the wall of the biological space opposite the opening into the lumen of the aneurysm at the site where the expandable body is inserted into the lumen of the biological space.
EFFECT: apparatus allows for effective treatment of vascular aneurysms and occlusion of segments of a blood vessel.
