SUBSTANCE: compositions of intensive penetration (CIP) of initial compound, capable of crossing biological barriers with high efficiency of penetration. CIP can be converted into parent drugs or compounds related to parent drugs, such as metabolites, after crossing one or more biological barriers, and thus can provide treatment of conditions amenable to treatment with parent drugs or compounds related to parent drugs. In addition, CIPs are capable of reaching areas not achievable for corresponding parent drugs or compounds related to parent drugs, or provide sufficient concentration in target areas. CIP of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), for example, have been shown to be effective in such indications as treatment of hair loss. CIP can be administered to a subject via various routes of administration, for example, administered locally with a high concentration at the site of manifestation of the condition, or administered to a biological subject systemically and faster to achieve total blood flow.
