FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of compositions with a high degree of penetration based on a peptide or a peptide-related compound containing a functional unit, a linker and a transport unit, for preventing and/or treating a condition or disease amenable to treatment with parent peptides or related peptides. Functional unit is covalently linked to the transport unit by means of a linker and contains a fragment of a peptide or a peptide-related compound. Transport unit contains an amine group capable of protonation. Linker contains a chemical bond capable of splitting after penetration of the composition through the biological barrier.
EFFECT: prodrug compositions with high degree of penetration based on peptides and peptide-related compounds are proposed.
