SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmaceutical compositions for treating chronic pain in a subject and for potentiating the action of an analgesic compound in a patient suffering chronic pain, comprising a) a pharmaceutically effective amount of an aminoquinoline compound which is 5,7-dichloro-4-(3,3-diphenylureido)quinolone-2-carboxylic acid (DCUKA) in the form of a free acid, a form of a free base or a pharmacologically acceptable addition salt together with b) an analgesic other than an aminoquinoline compound and selected from a group consisting of methadone, tramadol, and mixtures thereof.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions makes it possible to effectively treat chronic pain.
