FIELD: thermonuclear energy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermonuclear target for indirect initiation. The target contains a capsule with a fuel and a shell that retains X-ray radiation generated when its inner surface is irradiated with external laser radiation. The fuel capsule is fixed in its initial position by holders inside the shell, namely above the center of the shell. Wherein the holders contain electromagnets electrically connected to an external synchronization system. A thermonuclear target may contain shutters with electromagnets electrically connected to an external synchronization system.

EFFECT: increase in thermonuclear energy release.
