FIELD: nuclear physics and high-density energy technique; generation of thermonuclear neutrons, alpha-particles and beta-quanta. SUBSTANCE: thermonuclear fusion reaction process involves compression of spherical conducting shell with thermonuclear fuel in the form of gas held at pulse magnetic field pressure. Prior to compression, shell is additionally set in rotary motion and fed to magnetic-field compression region so that axis of its revolution is parallel to vector of magnetic field intensity. Density and temperature of thermonuclear plasma grow with energy take-off from pulse magnetic field, shell is compressed symmetrically, magnetic and hydrodynamic instabilities of Rayleigh-Taylor type are stabilized, and super- strong magnetic field of flux density about 100 MGs is generated inside shell. EFFECT: improved efficiency of thermonuclear fusion reaction and yield of neutrons. 5 dwg
