FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for estimating the electrical resistance of the skin cover in the area of biologically active zones comprises a measuring unit and an impact element, one end whereof is directed into the working end of the apparatus and the other end is connected to the measuring unit. The apparatus is equipped with an indifferent electrode, a power supply unit, a control unit, a personal computer with an automatic control program, connected to the measuring unit and the control unit, as well as an inflatable pillow. The impact element is made in the form of a multielectrode probe with electrode rods constituting conductive cores with one degree of freedom and provided with spherical heads at the working end, in combination forming the working surface of the impact element. The upper and lower dielectric plates of the probe are located parallel with a gap of at least 5 mm between said probes and comprise coaxial holes located at a distance of 2 to 3 mm from each other, whereto rods with a diameter of 0.5 to 0.7 mm are inserted. From the working end, the rods have spherical heads with a diameter of 1.0 to 1.5 mm. From the non-working end, the rods are connected by electrical wires with the measuring unit connected to the indifferent electrode, the power supply unit, and the personal computer. A reference point is located on the upper plate. The movement of the electrodes in the vertical position is provided according to the principle of a sliding hinge by means of the inflatable cushion connected to a pneumatic system with an adjustable electronic pressure relay through a hose and mechanically contacting the non-working end of the impact element.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of estimation of the electrical resistance of the skin cover in the area of biologically active zones and reduction in the duration of the procedure of localisation thereof are achieved.
