SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the tobacco industry, namely to a mouthpiece for a product that generates an aerosol, a system that generates an aerosol and a method for assembling the mouthpiece. A mouthpiece for an aerosol generating article comprises a housing with an inlet end configured to provide an aerosol flow entry into the mouthpiece. The body of the mouthpiece contains an outlet end configured to provide an exit of the aerosol stream from the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece body contains an aerosol flow path between the inlet end and the outlet end. The mouthpiece is designed in such a way that the direction of flow of the aerosol is reversed at least once between the inlet end and the outlet end. The mouthpiece is formed from an outer part and an inner part. The outer part of the body forms a central inner channel and a tubular outer wall of the mouthpiece. The inner part of the body has a hollow tubular shape with a side wall, one open end and one closed end. The inner part is inserted axially from the side of the outlet end into the outer part so that the side wall of the inner part is located between the central channel and the outer wall of the outer part. Also disclosed is an aerosol generating system including an aerosol generating device and a mouthpiece. A method for assembling a mouthpiece is also disclosed.
