SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a mouthpiece for attachment to the hollow tubular part of the filter of an aerosol generating article, a system and a method of attaching the mouthpiece to the hollow tubular section of the filter of an aerosol generating article. Mouthpiece has an inner tubular section having a minimum outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the hollow tubular part of the filter of the aerosol generating article. Mouthpiece has an outer tubular section having a maximum inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the aerosol generating article. Mouthpiece has a central air flow channel located along the longitudinal axis of the mouthpiece. Air flow channel contains a Venturi part. Venturi part comprises an inlet part, an optional central part and an outlet part. Inlet part converges downstream while outlet part diverges downstream. Mouthpiece comprises a hinge section for attachment of the mouthpiece to the aerosol generating device. System comprises a mouthpiece and an aerosol generating article. Article for generating an aerosol comprises a portion of a substrate comprising an aerosol-forming substrate and a hollow tubular portion of a filter. Minimum outer diameter of the inner tubular section of the mouthpiece is less than the inner diameter of the hollow tubular part of the filter of the aerosol generating article. Maximum inner diameter of the outer tubular section of the mouthpiece is greater than the outer diameter of the aerosol generating article. Method of attachment of a mouthpiece to a hollow tubular section of a filter of an aerosol generating article, comprising steps of: providing a mouthpiece, providing an article for generating an aerosol comprising a portion of a substrate comprising an aerosol-forming substrate and a hollow tubular portion of a filter, the mouthpiece is attached to the hollow tubular part of the filter of the aerosol generating article by inserting the inner tubular section of the mouthpiece into the hollow tubular part of the filter of the aerosol generating article.
EFFECT: improved connection of the mouthpiece with an aerosol-generating article so that such connection is reliable and easy to implement.
