FIELD: drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for drying cavities of various shell equipment and can be used in power engineering, the chemical, petroleum, gas, petroleum and gas processing, and other industries. A method for drying the cavity of shell apparatuses, based on simultaneous evacuation of each individual cavity, characterised by the fact that in order to ensure heat supply, UHF emission is supplied to each cavity, used to heat and evaporates the water remaining in the cavity, wherein the frequency and power of UHF emission are determined based on the parameters of the cavity according to the calculating formulas of the UHF energy absorbed by water until the predetermined value of the residual humidity of the pumped air is reached.
EFFECT: reduction in the energy intensity and reduction in the duration of drying of the apparatus.
