FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermometry and can be used to measure the temperature corresponding to the heating of the filament in incandescent lighting lamps. In the proposed method, a voltage U1 is applied to the filament, at which, as a result of heating, a visible glow of the surface of about half the length of the filament is detected visually or with the help of a video camera. Then the voltage U1 and the current I1 passing through the filament are measured, and the initial resistance R1 of the filament is determined by these parameters. Next, the voltage U applied to the filament is set so that its heating corresponds to the required lamp glow level. Then the voltage U and current I are measured through the filament and the final electrical resistance R is calculated using these two parameters. Further, according to the initial and final resistance of the filament, its temperature T is determined by the formula

where α0 is the temperature coefficient of resistance corresponding to the temperature T0 = 273 K, α1 is the temperature coefficient of resistance corresponding to the temperature T1 = 800 K, at which the visible glow of the filament appears.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measuring the average volume temperatures of the filament in incandescent lighting lamps in the temperature range of 800 K - 3000 K.
