FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and oncology, and can be used for long bones prosthetics in pathological, in particular metastatic, fractures. After removal of affected part of long bone in ends of distal and proximal parts of preserved bone recesses are drilled out. Surgical field is washed with neutral anolyte. Further, the rod is inserted into the recesses and its ends are blocked by means of perpendicularly screwed in screws. Cylindrical tube with a longitudinal incision is then put on the rod. Inner cavity of the tube, as well as the space between the ends of the rod and the inner wall of the bone, including the retainer cut, is filled with self-hardening bone cement. After cement hardening, the cylindrical tube is removed, the surgical site is repeatedly washed with a neutral anolyte, the surgical wound is closed in layers, leaving an active drainage.

EFFECT: method enables simplifying the endoprosthesis procedure and reducing its duration by making an individual endoprosthesis directly during the surgical intervention.
