FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, is intended for cleaning of external surface of tubing string from deposits and dirt when lifting from oil wells in order to improve working conditions of service personnel and to exclude contamination of the surrounding area of the well during repair works. Proposed device comprises hollow cylindrical housing with conical bore to receive annular case and flange with retractable thrusts for rigid fixation of annular case. Case is made in the form of two annular segments with an annular cavity in which there is an elastic collar tightly enclosing the surface of the cleaned pipes. Elastic collar is made in the form of a U-shaped cross-section seal consisting of external and internal ring seals connected to each other from below by a flat ring and forming an annular space above the flat ring. Outer ring seal and flat ring inside are reinforced with metal ring of L-shaped cross section from spring steel. Ring-shaped coil spring is put on the inner ring seal. Ring-shaped coil spring tightly presses the inner ring seal to the pipe surface with its working surface. Working surface of inner ring seal is equipped with cutting edge. Inside cutting edge is reinforced with metal ring of triangular cross section. In the process of lifting the pipe, when the pipe coupling passes through the inner ring seal, the coil spring is expanded outward, and when the pipe body passes through the inner ring seal, the ring-shaped coil spring is compressed inward.

EFFECT: higher quality of pipe outer surface cleaning, longer life of the elastic collar, better working conditions of the maintenance personnel, and contamination of the surrounding area is excluded.
