FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method of firing a shot from a ballistic installation with a high-frequency resonator, in which fuel components are fed into an annular combustion chamber 12. When gas-dynamic resonator 4 in cylinder 5 moves towards gate 7, gases in cylinder 5 and annular chamber 6 are compressed. Gas-dynamic resonator 4 disengages from projectile 8. Fuel 26, located in space behind the shell, as a result of pressure reduction, boils and changes partially or completely from liquid aggregate state into vapor-gas state. With further movement of gas-dynamic resonator 4 in cylinder 5, it overlaps annular chamber 6. Gases and fuel components heated as a result of compression enter annular chamber 6 with their subsequent ignition and flow through nozzles 11 into the annular combustion chamber 12 and into resonator cavity 13 with additional compression of combustion products due to focusing of disturbances reflected from reflecting wall 10. A pulsating process is carried out due to excitation of resonant high-frequency oscillations in resonator cavity 13, which is periodically filled with combustion products and fuel components.
EFFECT: maximum amount of projectile movement.
