FIELD: video processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to video data processing technologies. A digital data carrier storing a video data stream is proposed. The video data stream contains video content encoded in it, using predictive and entropic encoding in units of slices, into which images of video content are spatially subdivided. A sequence of slices is packaged into payload packets of a sequence of packets of the video data stream in the encoding order. The sequence of packets is subdivided into a sequence of access blocks, so that each access block collects payload packets having slices packaged in it, related to the corresponding video content image. The sequence of packets has packets of image fragment identification, placed in it between payload packets of one access block, identifying one or more image fragments overlapped by some slice packaged in one or more payload packets.
EFFECT: ensuring a low end-to-end delay when encoding/decoding video content images.
