FIELD: pulp and paper industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pulp and paper industry and is intended for the production of cellulose for chemical processing, cellulose-based products, including powdered cellulose, from vegetable raw materials. The method for producing cellulose involves cooking crushed vegetable raw materials with a solution of hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a multicomponent catalyst. As a multicomponent catalyst, a mixture of tungstic acid or its salts, molybdenum acid or its salts and a third component are used at the concentration of the components in solution 0.02-0.04:0.02-0.04:0.03-0.06 mol/l, respectively. Peroxymonosulfuric acid is taken as the third component of the catalyst. The process is carried out at a temperature of 70-80°C for 1.25-2 hours.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the quality of cellulose: increase the alpha-cellulose index by 1.4%, reduce the lignin content by 0.5%, reduce the cooking time to 2 hours and reduce the consumption of hydrogen peroxide to 22%.
