FIELD: tetrapeptide production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing the Ac-His-Ala-Glu-Glu-NH2 (Ac-HAEE-NH2) tetrapeptide in solution, which can be used in medicine as a drug for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The tetrapeptide is prepared starting from the amide of gamma-benzyl ester of glutamic acid using the method of activated esters and the carbodiimide method using tert-butylcarbonyl and trityl-protected amino acids, the unblocking of protective groups is carried out with solutions of hydrogen chloride in dioxane, trifluoroacetic acid in methylene chloride, 90% with acetic acid, the final deblocking is carried out by hydrogenation on a palladium catalyst to obtain a high purity Ac-His-Ala-Glu-Glu-NH2 tetrapeptide.
