SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for sorting wagons. The system for managing the operation of marshalling yards contains a block for generating the actual train position, the inputs of which are connected to the output of the sensor block for passing trains through the station and to the output of the sensor block for fixing the arrival and departure of trains through the station, a device for generating a hybrid model of stations, and a block for updating the current plan at the moment calculation with three memory modules connected to it, a module for updating the current plan, a block for generating a long-term train work plan for the day ahead, a memory module that stores regulatory and reference information on the polygon, a block for generating a hybrid model database for each station of the polygon, a module for correcting train work plans based on data from a hybrid model of stations, and an output and finishing unit plan to performers.
