SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to means for the production of cardboard trays and can be applied in the packaging industry. The apparatus for automatic production of TV-type trays includes a tray body forming device and a tray receiving device. The device for forming the tray body contains elements that ensure the bending of the side walls of the formed tray body of the "TV" type in the direction of its base. The device receiving the tray contains a spacer mechanism that secures the flaps under the frame.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of manufacturing trays of the "TV" type by an installation for automatic production of trays.
