FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to components of cardan shafts, in particular to splined shafts and their tubular structures. Splined shaft for cardan shaft comprises one-piece tube (10) formed by elongated first tubular part (14) having first diameter (d1), and coaxially elongated second tubular part (15), wherein length of first tubular part (14) is substantially larger than that of second tubular part (15). Outer periphery of second tubular part (15) comprises a plurality of radially spaced apart channels (12), which are located in axial direction from one end to front edge (11), and second diameter (d2) of second pipe part (15) is less than first diameter (d1), with formation of shaft by shrinkage of first pipe part (14) into knee section provided between them, and knee section (16) between first pipe part (14) and second pipe part (15) has an S-shape.
EFFECT: increased structural integrity of spline assembly in cardan shafts.
