FIELD: heat engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used for cleaning the inner surface of condenser tubes made of brass and titanium or other metals. Method of cleaning and passivation of internal surfaces of tubes of condensers of steam turbines from deposits consists in treatment of internal surfaces of tubes in selected circuit with a cleaning composition containing wt.%: lactic acid C3H6O3 1.0–4.0, urotropin 0.1–0.2, water — the rest; and subsequent passivation of inner surfaces of tubes by treatment with hydrogen peroxide introduced directly into cleaning composition with concentration of 2.0–3.0 wt.%. Treatment of inner surfaces of tubes is carried out at temperature of 25–45 °C for 4–7 hours, passivation — by treatment with hydrogen peroxide for 2–4 hours.

EFFECT: elimination of the negative effect of the cleaning composition, higher efficiency of passivation.
