FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthetic inorganic chemistry and specifically to a method of producing an adduct of phosphoric and boric acids. Process is carried out in a paddle mixer by mixing boric acid with ammonium phosphate in molar ratio of 1:1–3 at a temperature of producing adduct from 150 to 350 °C for 30–180 minutes.
EFFECT: proposed method enables to obtain an adduct of phosphoric and boric acids with decomposition temperature higher than 300 °C (with weight loss at 300 °C of not more than 5 %) and residual weight after calcination at 500 °C of more than 80 % using one apparatus, without separation of intermediate reaction products, as well as high water and power consumption.
