FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-generating device and an aerosol-generating system. Aerosol-generating device comprises a housing having an open end and forming a cavity, communicating with the open end and designed to accommodate the aerosol-generating article. Aerosol-generating device comprises a rotatable gripping element located in said cavity and configured to retain the aerosol-generating article within said cavity. Rotary gripping element is made with possibility of movement in longitudinal direction inside said cavity. Aerosol-generating device comprises a heating element communicating with said cavity and configured to heat the aerosol-generating article, retained by said gripping element inside said cavity. Rotation of the gripping element causes the aerosol-generating article held by the gripping element to rotate relative to the heating element. Also disclosed is an aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device.
EFFECT: high efficiency of consumption of the aerosol-generating substrate.
