SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering. To achieve the effect, a device for balancing and reactive power compensation, containing three adjustable capacitor units connected through the clamps of the first normally open three-phase switch between the phases of the supply network and the neutral wire of the supply network, three sensors of the current of the phases of the supply network and three sensors of the phase voltage of the supply network, equipped with an auxiliary normally closed three-phase switch interlocked from simultaneous switching on with the first three-phase switch, at the same time, three input terminals of the auxiliary three-phase switch are connected to the corresponding three common connection points of the adjustable capacitor units and the first three-phase switch, and three output terminals of the auxiliary three-phase switch are connected to input terminals of three adjustable capacitor units that are opposite to its input terminals.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at expanding the functionality of devices for balancing and compensating reactive power in the phases of the electrical network while increasing their reliability, increasing efficiency and reducing cost.
