FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: power saving device of 3-phase network refers to electrical engineering. Energy saving device comprises current sensors module, voltage sensors module, control unit, harmonics level meter and phase misalignment meter, a controller, n compensation modules, each of which contains three switched reactive elements, the first outputs of which are combined and are the outputs of the corresponding compensation module, and the second outputs of which are respectively the first, second and third inputs of the corresponding compensation module, wherein each switched reactive element comprises a switch, an iterative transformer and a cosine capacitor, inputs of the compensation modules are connected to the corresponding phase wires, and the outputs are connected to the neutral wire through the corresponding contactors.
EFFECT: improved quality of electric power due to increased accuracy of reactive power compensation, reduced level of harmonics and reduced voltage unbalance (phase imbalance).
