FIELD: radiophysics
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiophysics, HF and microwave technology, high-current electronics, etc., and can be used to generate powerful directional narrow-band electromagnetic radiation in the decimeter range when testing the electromagnetic compatibility of various infrastructure facilities, as well as in other research activities. The device for generating directional narrow-band radiation of the decimeter range contains an initial microwave signal source, the output of which is connected in parallel to the inputs of two microwave radiation amplifiers, the outputs of which, in turn, are connected to the inputs of two transmitting antennas. Parallel to the source of the original microwave signal, a second source of the original microwave signal is connected, one diode is installed in front of the amplifier inputs, and the polarities of the diodes are opposite. Between the output of one of the amplifiers and the input of the corresponding transmitting antenna, a long cable line and a polarity switch of the amplified signal are connected in series.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the device for generating directional narrow-band radiation of the decimeter range by providing the possibility of forming radiation, which is composed of various combinations of two bands.
