FIELD: radiophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiophysics, HF (high-frequency) and microwave (superhigh-frequency) technology, high-current electronics, etc. and can be used to generate powerful narrow-band electromagnetic radiation in the decimeter wavelength range in practical scientific research. The method for generating a flow of quasi-continuous narrow-band radiation in the decimeter wavelength range additionally includes ensuring that the output impedance of the original microwave signal source, the wave impedance of the driving signal transmission line and the input impedance of the microwave radiation amplifier, broadcasting the amplified signal to the input of the transmitting antenna through the transmission line through the air capacitor. The impedance of the amplified signal transmission line is provided equal to the antenna impedance Za. An air capacitor is connected in series directly to the antenna input, and its capacitance is chosen so that its reactance is less than 2×Za.
EFFECT: expanding the power control range of the formed quasi-continuous narrow-band electromagnetic radiation of the decimeter wavelength range by improving the method for power transmission to the radiating antenna.
