FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, namely to devices for working with enzymes or microorganisms, with means for introducing gas. The invention can be used in the food, agro-industrial, medical, microbiological, petrochemical industries for the synthesis of various biological products developing in a liquid environment enriched with gas substrates and oxidants. The stepped reactor for aerobic biosynthesis is made in the form of a vertical two-chamber body and one or more groups of indivisible dependent elements for aeration of the liquid phase. Each group of indivisible dependent elements always contains two jet aerators, the lower of which is located in the upper chamber of the housing. The reactor itself is made with nozzles for the supply of gases and process fluids, as well as for the removal of the liquid and gas phase. Enrichment of the liquid phase with a mixture of gases is carried out by two-stage aeration using jet gravity aerators with an ejection effect to increase mass exchange processes in a large container. The reactor is equipped with heat exchangers, liquid flow inductors for recirculation of the liquid phase and a pipeline for supplying the liquid phase to the overflow chamber. Liquid phase circulation fittings and liquid phase sampling fittings are installed in the lower part of the housing. The increase in the working volume of the reactor is carried out by a calculated proportional increase in the diameter of the two-chamber housing in accordance with the number of radially added groups of indivisible dependent elements for aeration of the liquid phase.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the active volume while maintaining a high level of mass transfer processes in the biosynthesis zone.
