FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. The application is carried out with a sterile disc from a hemostatic sponge 10×10 mm in size, moistened in a 5% alcohol solution of formalin, under local anesthesia with 0.4% oxybuprocaine. Put on a soft contact lens for 24 hours, the next day remove the soft contact lens and the disk of the hemostatic sponge. Then, a 0.1% solution of dexamethasone is instilled on the surface of the cornea for 3 days 4 times a day, on the 3rd day, under local infiltration anesthesia, the corneal epithelium is scarified with a size of 10×10 mm. After scarification with an insulin syringe with an integrated 29G needle, an intrastromal injection of 0.1 ml of 106 CFU/ml with a clinical suspension of fungal isolates of Fusarium spp. Then 2-3 drops of 99% dimexide concentrate are instilled, the cornea and conjunctival cavity are washed with 0.1% dexamethasone solution. After that, the conjunctival surface and cornea are irrigated with 106 CFU/ml with a clinical suspension of fungal isolates of Fusarium spp., including fragments of mycelium. Next, 0.2-0.3 ml of the same suspension is applied to the inner surface of the soft contact lens, the soft contact lens is put on the cornea. In the following days, after 1 day for 5-6 approaches, additional procedures for infecting the cornea are carried out, removing the soft contact lens, irrigating with 99% dimescid concentrate, fresh clinical suspension of fungal isolates of Fusarium spp. 106 cfu/ml together with intrastromal injection.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reliably reproduce an experimental model of fungal keratouveitis with corneal ulceration in rabbits, does not require special ophthalmic surgical equipment, and at the same time allows expanding the possibility for studying the occurrence and course of the pathological process and developing local etiological treatment.
