FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental research of high-speed process of body motion in continuous medium, in particular to determination of contact forces and accelerations arising at interaction of hammer with target. Method for combined noncontact recording of body motion in a continuous medium involves recording moments of passage of a given body cross sections, perpendicular to the direction of movement of the body, in a solid medium placed in a container. During movement of the body, high-speed video recording of the medium surface is carried out additionally using a high-speed video camera. Moments of passage of the specified cross-sections by the body are recorded using induction sensors, obtained images are processed by a cross-correlation method and analyzed together with the recorded data.
EFFECT: high information value of the experiment and accuracy of the obtained data.
