SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and is a method of producing a heterogeneous biocatalyst based on papain immobilized on ion-exchange resins, including adsorption immobilization of papain in a buffer solution on an ion-exchange resin matrix, incubation at room temperature, washing formed precipitate with a buffer, wherein immobilization is carried out on a matrix of air-dry ion-exchange resin AV-16-GS, and the buffer solution for immobilisation is 0.05 M phosphate buffer.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing a heterogeneous biocatalyst based on papain immobilized on ion-exchange resins.
