FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a hybrid preparation of papain and chitosan ascorbate in the form of a thick solution, involving immobilization of papain in a thick solution of chitosan ascorbate in 0.05 M glycine buffer solution with pH 9.0 in ratio of 10 ml of a papain solution in concentration of 20 mg/ml, obtained by dissolving in a buffer, per 1 g of chitosan ascorbate with a molecular weight of 350 kDa, previously dissolved in 10 ml of a buffer, followed by incubation at room temperature for 2 hours with constant stirring at 250 rpm; washing the obtained preparation in the form of a thick solution by dialysis for 8 hours against 50 mM tris-HCl buffer with pH 7.5, then the buffer is changed and dialysis is continued for 16 hours until there is no free papain in the washing solution.

EFFECT: invention provides wider range of stabilized papain preparations for use in chemical-pharmaceutical industry and medicine.
