FIELD: nuclear energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nuclear energy and is intended for use in steam turbine plants (STP) of nuclear power plants with a system of combustion of hydrogen with oxygen to overheat the working fluid in the steam turbine cycle. The system of combustion of hydrogen in oxygen in a swirling stream of increased safety using ultra-high-temperature ceramic materials for overheating the working fluid in the steam-turbine cycle of a nuclear power plant, including a stoichiometric afterburner part of the hydrogen-oxygen combustion chamber connected to a heat exchange superheating surface made of ultra-high-temperature ceramic material.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain non-dissociated steam by combustion of hydrogen in oxygen in a swirling flow when mixing with the working medium of a STP NPP for the purpose of overheating.
