METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SEASONAL REDUCTION OF ELECTRIC ENERGY LOSSES AND INCREASE OF RELIABILITY IN ELECTRIC NETWORK Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC H02J13/00

Abstract RU 2813851 C1

FIELD: electric networks.

SUBSTANCE: at transformer substation, powered by one supply line, transformers of different power are installed, wherein power of each of them is less than power required for power supply at maximum load of substation, and their total power is equal to or greater than the maximum power, providing the conditions for parallel operation of transformers, setting and counting the first group of time intervals in accordance with the season of the year, wherein intervals are set per second, during which the load connected to the transformer substation is less than the power of one of the two installed transformers. In addition, a second group of time intervals is set and counted in accordance with the season of the year, during which the load connected to the transformer substation is less than the power of the second of the two installed transformers, the third group of time intervals is set and counted in accordance with the season of the year, during which the load of the transformer substation is greater than the power of each of the two transformers separately, but less than the total power of the two installed transformers, connected in parallel, during counting of the first group of intervals, the switched on state of the first transformer is provided and the load of the transformer substation is supplied from it, the switched off state of the second transformer is provided. At the beginning of the second group of intervals, the second transformer is automatically switched to parallel operation with the first transformer, after which the first transformer is automatically disconnected and the on state of the second transformer is provided and the load of the transformer substation is supplied from it. At the beginning of the third group of time intervals, the second transformer is automatically switched to parallel operation with the operating transformer, providing the connected state of two transformers for parallel operation and power supply from them to the load of the transformer substation, controlling the load of the transformer substation, nominal load values and permissible operating time with overload are set for each of the transformers, if during the counting of the first or second group of time intervals the load will exceed the rated value for the corresponding transformer, permissible overload time of the transformer switched on at this time is counted, if after the end of the permissible overload time count it is not eliminated, second transformer is automatically switched to parallel operation, if during the first or second time interval the connected transformer is damaged, it is automatically switched off and the second installed transformer is switched on.

EFFECT: reduction of losses in electric network due to reduction of no-load losses in power transformers and increase of reliability due to possibility of redundancy of power transformers, as well as automatic switching of transformers taking into account seasonality of electric loads in case of damage of one of transformers.
