FIELD: car industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for applying noise-reducing elements to tires. The method for applying noise-reducing elements (100) to tires (500) is described, wherein each noise-reducing element (100) contains attached surface (101) covered with adhesive layer (50a). In this case, the method includes illumination of attached surface (101) covered with adhesive layer (50a) by means of control radiation (R1). Then, radiation (R2) emitted by the attached surface (101) illuminated by control radiation (R1), and, depending on emitted radiation (R2), is detected. Digital image (ImD) is obtained showing attached surface (101) covered with adhesive layer (50a). Moreover, each pixel of digital image (ImD) corresponds to a brightness value that characterizes the amount of adhesive available in the area of attached surface (101), which corresponds to the specified each pixel. First parameter (P) is calculated, characterizing the overall distribution of adhesive layer (50a) on attached surface (101), depending on the specified brightness values. A comparison of value (VP) of the specified first parameter (P) and control value (Vrif) characterizing the correct distribution of adhesive layer (50a) on attached surface (101) is performed. One or more noise-reducing elements (100) is imposed on the radially inner surface of tire (500), or they are directed along the rejection trajectory based on the specified comparison.

EFFECT: increase in the uniformity of gluing the noise-reducing element to the tire, avoiding premature disconnection of the noise-reducing element.
