FIELD: mechanical engineering
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spherical joints, in particular, for a spherical joint with a sliding bearing shell and can be used in spherical joints of steered wheels and pivot joints of steering mechanisms of vehicles. In the spherical joint, the bearing slide is made in the form of a solid casting having a spherical surface inside, with a radius equal to the outer diameter of the sphere of the ball pin, a spherical surface outside, with a radius equal to the inner spherical surface of the solid-stamped body. Bearing slide is made with a hole with the possibility of mounting the ball pin in the inner part of the bearing slide, and along the hole perpendicular to it, slots are made, with the possibility to expand during installation and take back a spherical shape, through grooves are made along the surface of the bearing slide, located in strips along the meridian of the sphere, ensuring self-circulation of the lubricant , due to the rotational movement of the ball pin. The head of the ball pin is made with a square boss in the form of a square when the profile is sectioned.
EFFECT: increasing the wear resistance of a part such as a spherical joint and improving the operational properties
