METHOD FOR COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE TECHNICAL CONDITION OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01M15/04 G01M15/10

Abstract RU 2769047 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in assessing the technical condition of internal combustion engines, taking into account temperature and vibration characteristics. The technical result is achieved by the fact that a method for a comprehensive assessment of the technical condition of internal combustion engines consists in determining a complex indicator taking into account the temperature and vibration of exhaust gases, as well as their reference values at maximum and minimum rotational speeds, characterized in that the actual values of temperature and vibration of the outer wall of the exhaust manifold are measured at full power, the temperature attribute is determined by the formula where σUt is the standard deviation of temperature, W; Utact is the actual value of the temperature of the outer wall of the exhaust manifold, W; MUt is the arithmetic mean of the temperature, W, and the vibration attribute is determined by the formula where σUν is the standard deviation of vibration, W; Uvact is the actual value of vibration of the outer wall of the exhaust manifold, W; MUν is the arithmetic mean of vibration, W, while a comprehensive assessment is determined by the formula the status of the technical condition is established: is serviceable; CA>0.5 is faulty and a digital code is formed: CA:TA[Utact]VP[Uvact].

EFFECT: claimed method for a comprehensive assessment of the technical condition of internal combustion engines makes it possible to increase its visibility by generating a digital code taking into account temperature and vibration characteristics based on the actual values of temperature and vibration rate of the outer wall of the exhaust manifold.
