METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF TECHNICAL CONDITION OF SHIPBOARD DIESEL ENGINES UNDER OPERATING CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01M15/00

Abstract RU 2774729 C2

FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the assessment of a technical condition of shipboard diesel engines; it can be used to determine categories, which are characterized by varying degrees of change in technical condition within the framework of regulatory and technical documentation, based on the conversion of actual values of operational indicators into a dimensionless value. The method for the assessment of a technical condition of shipboard diesel engines under operating conditions includes the measurement of operational indicators characterizing the environment and operating conditions of shipboard diesel engines, fixation of their actual values under operating conditions, assessment of the technical condition according to their maximum permissible values (minimum and maximum), comparison of actual values with values of normative and technical documentation. In this case, operational indicators are selected as assessments, which are measured by standard equipment at a full power mode, are divided into direct (hereinafter – DOI) and reverse (hereinafter – ROI), their maximum and minimum values are tied to the scale as follows: DOImin =0; DOImax = 9; ROImin = 9; ROImax = 0. Actual values are converted to a dimensionless value for direct operational indicators according to formulas.

EFFECT: claimed method for the assessment of a technical condition of shipboard diesel engines under operating conditions allows one to determine categories of the technical condition of shipboard diesel engines, based on the conversion of actual values of operational indicators into a dimensionless value by calculating the complex technical condition.
