FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: expression kit for a breast pump device for extracting breast milk from a human breast comprises a breast pump body, having a first pressure chamber, a second pressure chamber and a membrane part separating the chambers from each other. First chamber is configured to be connected to a pressure unit to create pressure in the first chamber. Second chamber comprises a breast intake funnel, a milk outlet and a milk channel extending from the funnel to the outlet. Membrane portion is made to form a barrier between the first and second chambers to prevent leakage of human breast milk from the second chamber into the first chamber, but with provision of possibility of air exchange between the first and second chambers. Membrane part is hydrophobic and has the shape of a continuous sheet having a continuous appearance and provided with holes made so as to make the sheet air-permeable and liquid-impermeable. Membrane part contains material with surface tension in range of 0.015 N/m to 0.035 N/m. Disclosed is a breast pump device for extracting breast milk from at least one human breast.
EFFECT: providing an improved protective screen between the side of the expression set and the side of the set for connection with the pressure unit.
