FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the hydrometallurgical processing of raw materials containing heavy non-ferrous and noble metals, and can be used to extract silver from leaching solutions of pulverized intermediate products and waste. Pulverized pyrometallurgical waste is treated with a sodium chloride solution with a concentration of 90-250 g/l to form a leaching solution containing no more than 1 g/l of silver; silver is isolated by sorption from the leaching solution with an inorganic titanosilicate sorbent at a ratio of L:S=1:60-250 for 2-4 hours with separation of the saturated sorbent. After completion of sorption, silver is desorbed with a solution of nitric acid at a concentration of 150-200 g/l, followed by drying of the purified sorbent.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the degree of extraction of silver from the leaching solution, a decrease in the duration of sorption and desorption with the possibility of using a saturated sorbent as a functional material while increasing the environmental friendliness of the process.
