FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable trays which can be inserted one into the other and snapped one onto the other. Besides, the invention proposes assemblies containing cable trays, tenons for cable trays and related methods. Each cable tray (200, 201) contains bottom (240), two upright side walls (230, 231) and first end (210) extending as an extension of bottom (240) and upright walls (230, 231), and second end (220) extending as an extension of bottom (240) and upright walls (230, 231). Each side wall (230, 231) of second end (220) comprises two openings for tenons, wherein tenons (100) and openings (250) for tenons are arranged one above the other, wherein each first end (210) and each second end (220) are made with possibility of sliding mating and snapping, wherein part of opening (105) of first end (210) of first cable tray (200) extends beyond second end (220) of second cable tray (201) and remains not closed by said second end (220), when first and second cable trays (200, 201) are connected.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create trays that can be easily installed and removed by one person, at the same time the connection does not lose strength.
