SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport containers, in particular, to large-capacity containers for transportation of steel coils, cargoes of cylindrical shape and other piece cargoes. Technical result is achieved by using container for transportation of steel coils, cargoes of cylindrical shape and piece cargoes containing base; side walls; front wall; roof; upper reverse-turning beam above door opening and end doors, wherein the base is a frame structure with reinforcement elements, consisting of transvers of U-channels connected to the bearing sill and longitudinal and transverse channels, on the upper surface of which are attached four pairs of symmetric in length reinforced modular lodgments consisting of two modular sections: small and large, to outer surface of which are welded metal sheets, and in upper sheets of large modules there are holes for installation of pins in them to hold stoppers-stops, wherein pins are made with grooves, preventing vertical displacement of pins from action of loads and their spontaneous loss from holes of large modules of base and upper plate of stopper. To the metal sheets inner side, under the stoppers pins fixing holes, the reinforcing metal plates with the holes are welded, the step of which coincides with the holes for the stopper pins installation, wherein along the right and left side walls of the base there are drawers-chests having on top hinged covers with cylindrical holes for their opening / closing.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of container design during operation.
