FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrodes for electric arc surfacing of a wear-resistant alloy on parts operating under conditions of abrasive wear, and can be used in repair of equipment and restoration of parts. The electrode is made in the form of a metal rod containing the following components, wt.%: carbon 1.05 to 1.2, silicon 8.0 to 11.0, manganese 0.7 to 1.2, nickel 2.0 to 2.5, chromium 11.6 to 16.2, boron 0.07 to 0.3, wherein copper 1.0 to 2.0 is included therein for plasticity, and iron constitutes the rest.
EFFECT: specified ratio of components of the electrode ensures high wear resistance of the hardened coating.
