FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: antifriction composite material for making plain bearings of machines and units, consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene, molybdenum disulphide and fillers, one of which is ultrafine powder of cryptocrystalline graphite. Second filler is a low-melting material enclosed in a thin-walled shell in the form of capsules made of copper or its alloys in the form of a sphere, ellipsoid or cylinder with conical bases with diameter of 5–6 mm and length of 8–10 mm, wherein components of antifriction material are specified in the following volume ratio: polytetrafluoroethylene 70–75 %, molybdenum disulphide 1–3 %, cryptocrystalline graphite 2–6 %, low-melting material enclosed in a thin-wall shell, 15–20 %, and the melting point of the low-melting component is set in range from 80 to 140 °C.
EFFECT: increased operability of plain bearing inserts due to more efficient heat removal from the friction zone and its in-structure absorption due to the presence of capsules with low-melting material in the structure of the material, reducing and stabilizing temperature of tribotechnical unit operation.
